Ornamental Metal Fencing

Ornamental metal fencing combines a decorative profile with a secure perimeter. Fence Max Texas designs and installs ornamental steel and aluminum fencing across Dallas–Fort Worth with custom panel layouts, finials, scrollwork and matching gates.

Ornamental fencing is where the fence is meant to be seen. Panel proportion, picket spacing and top detail are chosen the way trim on a house is chosen — for how it looks from the street and from inside the property.

We work in both steel and aluminum. Steel is stronger and suits larger gates and security applications; aluminum will not rust and is lighter for panel-heavy residential layouts.

Because we fabricate, the design is not limited to catalog panel heights. Arched sections, custom picket spacing and integration with masonry columns are all possible.

Texas weather

Finish quality is the whole story for ornamental metal in Texas. A good powder coat holds color through years of UV; a thin one chalks. Keep water off the base of the pickets and the fence stays looking new.

Maintenance

Wash periodically, touch up chips, and check gate alignment seasonally.

FAQ

Common questions

Steel or aluminum for ornamental fencing?
Steel for strength and larger gates, aluminum where corrosion resistance and lighter weight matter more than raw strength.
Can it match masonry columns?
Yes. Panels fabricated to span between brick or stone columns is a common estate and community entrance design.
What colors are available?
Powder coat comes in a range of colors; black remains the most common choice in DFW neighborhoods.
Is it as secure as security fencing?
Ornamental fencing prioritizes appearance. Where security is the driver, we specify a security-grade panel and picket configuration.
Can gates be automated?
Yes. Ornamental gates are regularly built to accept automatic openers.
