Why it works here

Built for North Texas

Contoured to your yard

Decks are laid out around the pool, the slope, the tree line and the doors people actually use — not dropped in as a rectangle.

Soft and hardwood options

Experience across deck materials and brands, so the recommendation fits your budget and how much maintenance you want.

Budget-friendly options

We stock and install common deck sizes in a range of products for simpler projects.

Built to be walked on for years

Framing, spans and fasteners are specified for long-term use, not just for the day of the final photo.

Texas weather

Texas sun is hard on horizontal surfaces. A deck board takes far more UV and heat than a fence picket, and that drives board selection, spacing and finish. Drainage matters too — a deck built tight to the ground with no airflow underneath will rot from below no matter what it is made of.

Maintenance

Sweep debris out of the board gaps so water can drain, wash the deck annually, and re-stain or seal on a two-to-three-year cycle for wood. Check railings and stair connections each year, and keep planters on feet rather than sitting directly on the boards.

FAQ

Common questions

Wood or composite?
Wood costs less up front and can be refinished; composite costs more and needs less maintenance, though it can run hot in direct Texas sun. We will walk you through the trade-off for your specific deck.
Can you build a deck around a pool?
Yes, and pool decks have specific considerations around slip resistance, drainage and code requirements for barriers and gates.
Can a deck and patio cover be built together?
Yes, and it is usually better to build them together. The cover's posts and footings can be integrated into the deck framing.
Do you build multi-level decks?
Yes. Multi-level layouts are one of the best ways to handle a sloped North Texas backyard.
How long does a deck last?
That depends entirely on the material, the framing and how it is maintained. Good framing, airflow underneath and regular refinishing are what separate a deck that lasts from one that does not.
