Automatic Gate Opener Installation

Fence Max Texas installs automatic gate openers on new and existing driveway gates across Dallas–Fort Worth, including the opener, power and conduit, safety devices, keypads and two programmed remote controls.

An opener is only as good as the gate and the installation behind it. Most opener failures we are called about trace back to a gate that binds, a post that has shifted, or safety devices that were never aligned properly.

We install the complete system: the operator sized to the gate's weight and duty cycle, power and conduit to the gate, safety devices appropriate to the configuration, control hardware, and two remote controls programmed before we leave.

Where a customer has an existing gate, we will assess honestly whether it can carry automation or whether the gate should be rebuilt first.

Texas weather

Heat and lightning are the main threats to gate electronics in North Texas. Enclosure placement, correct grounding and surge protection make a measurable difference in how long a control board lasts here.

Maintenance

Test the safety devices periodically, replace remote batteries proactively, keep the gate's swing or track path clear, and have the operator checked if the gate starts hesitating.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you automate a gate you didn't build?
Often, yes. We assess the gate, posts and hardware first and tell you honestly whether automating it is a good investment.
What happens in a power outage?
Openers include a manual release, and battery backup is available on most systems.
How do guests get in?
Keypads, intercoms and phone-entry systems are all options, chosen based on how often you have visitors and whether the property is occupied during the day.
Are safety sensors required?
Automated gates are installed with the safety devices appropriate to the configuration so the gate stops or reverses if something is in its path.
Do I get remotes?
Two remote controls are included and programmed before we leave the site.
